Colette Whitney is a residential
interior designer with 25 years of experience as President of Whitney
Interiors, Ltd., a New York City based firm. Before starting her
company in 1981, she was Curator of Exhibitions for one of New York’s
premier contemporary art galleries.
Specialties of the firm are consulting, space planning and color work,
kitchens, baths and home staging. Staging clients include many of New
York’s top real estate professionals. Her book, Stage Your Home ~

Colette is a long-standing member of ASID, the American Society of
Interior Designers, and her work spans a wide variety of venues from
city lofts to country homes. An expert in kitchen and bath design, in
1996 she was the founding President of the National Kitchen and Bath
Association's Manhattan Chapter.
