Joses Painting Process:
SETUPMoving Furniture
Furniture will be moved into the center of the room. If
necessary, furniture will be covered with plastic to protect it
from sanding dust, paint, caulking, etc. When work is complete,
the furniture will be moved back to its original position.
Window Treatments
Carefully detach curtains and/or blinds from the windows, and
attach upon job completion.
Protecting Flooring
Necessary precautions will be taken to protect and cover
flooring throughout the entire painting process.
PREPARATION
Filling Nail Holes and
Minor Sheetrock Imperfections
Fill all nail holes and
patch any cracks in the walls. Gaps in the trim will be caulked.
Also, minor sheetrock imperfections (dents and dings) will be
filled and sanded.
Wallpaper
Removal/Painting
Removal of wallpaper prior to painting,
or we can paint over the wallpaper.We can explain this process
to you in further detail.
PAINTING
Finish coat is applied by brush and roller or sprayer, depending upon the surface, to a uniform finish. All trim will be painted and completed with clean cut lines between wall and trim.
